Biography
Pablo Parrilla is a lawyer with a degree from the University of Buenos Aires. His professional practice focuses on international law, with extensive experience representing sovereign states and private entities in complex disputes involving foreign investments (international investment arbitration).
Before becoming a Partner at PBX International Law, Pablo Parrilla worked at various prestigious law firms in Buenos Aires, Washington, and Paris. He was involved in the international defense of several sovereign states, public entities, and private companies in disputes over foreign investments, with combined claims exceeding USD 40 billion.
He has acted in over 40 Investor-State arbitrations under ICSID, UNCITRAL, and ICC rules. Additionally, he has participated in annulment and enforcement proceedings across multiple jurisdictions. Pablo has also served as a legislative advisor to government bodies in Latin America and Asia.
Academic Contributions
Pablo is a professor at both undergraduate and graduate levels at universities in Argentina and abroad. He teaches courses in Commercial Law and General and Advanced Public Law, for which he has received numerous awards and recognitions.
