The specialized website CIAR Global published an article highlighting the launch of PBX International Law, an international boutique firm based in Buenos Aires and Montevideo, specializing in Investor-State disputes and commercial arbitration in Latin America.
CIAR Global notes that PBX brings together lawyers with “extensive experience in the defense of States and public entities in highly complex international disputes.” The article also highlights that its founders, Pablo Parrilla and Nicolás Bianchi, have represented several States in more than 40 investment arbitrations under ICSID, UNCITRAL, and ICC rules, participating in some of the most relevant cases in the region in recent years.
In statements quoted by the outlet, Pablo Parrilla explained that the firm was founded with “the goal of providing focused, rigorous, and effective legal services,” while Nicolás Bianchi emphasized PBX’s commitment to defending sovereign interests “through a practice grounded in high technical, strategic, and ethical standards.”
