
Biography
María Carrara is a lawyer who graduated from the National University of Rosario (UNR). Her professional practice focuses on commercial arbitration and investment arbitration. She holds a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Private Law.
Throughout her career, she has actively participated in prestigious international competitions, such as the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot), the Willem C. Vis Moot, and the Competencia de Arbitraje Internacional de Inversión (CAII). Since 2021, she has served as coach of the UNR team.
Before joining PBX International Law, María worked at an Argentine law firm where she gained extensive experience in both judicial litigation and domestic commercial arbitration. Since 2024, she has held the position of Secretary of the Arbitration Institute of the Rosario Bar Association.
In addition, María has been involved in academic research projects focused on issues related to commercial arbitration and investment arbitration.
